Started Bharatnatyam at the age of four
Kavita Ramu was involved in the field of dance since childhood. He performed his art on big platforms and did 600 stage performances in total. Whose inspiration he used to get from his mother. Her father himself was an IAS officer and encouraged poetry to pursue art as well as studies. During her graduation, she started her UPSC preparation by taking the subject of Economics. After which she never looked back.
When did you fulfill your dream?
Kavita took the UPSC exam in the year 2002. During her career as a civil servant, Kavitha Ramu was posted as Assistant Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department in Chennai, Divisional Revenue Officer in Vellore and Joint Commissioner for Relief and Rehabilitation in Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project was done. He has also served as the General Manager and Director of Museums of the Tamil Nadu State Tourism Development Corporation. Let us tell you that in the year 1999, he was selected in Tamil Nadu State Civil Services. But he continued preparing for UPSC exam. In the year 2002, Kavita got success in the Civil Services Examination of the Union Public Service Commission. After which he got selected as an IAS officer.
